February: Cherish These Moments

Hi, y’all my name is Raeanna Kempf and I have been in Diamond Sweethearts for two years. My experience as a Dsweet has made THE college experience. I joined the second semester of my freshman year with one of my best friends and one day bridesmaids. Texas State is such an amazing school but can be really hard to find your place. I knew I wanted to be a part of a group that pushed me out of my comfort zone as well as one that supported me to be a better version of myself each day. That’s why I chose Diamond Sweethearts.

From the moment I joined this organization, I immediately knew that I was surrounded by compassionate, strong, loving, and inspiring women. I know I can count on them with whatever I need whether it's a pick me up to scream in the car type of night or a chill library study date. Diamond Sweethearts gave me a home at Texas State. Diamond Sweethearts has also given me a place to grow as a leader and person. I can honestly say Diamond Sweethearts has hands-down been one of the best decisions I have ever made since attending Texas State. I live, love, and breathe Texas State and this organization is one of my favorite things about this place.

Some advice I will leave with is: time will pass by fast with a blink of an eye. Enjoy every single second you have with your friends, littles, big, and everyone else in this amazing organization. I know in a year when my time is to graduate I will cherish the times I’ve had as Dsweet.
